Welcome to DocTranslate. Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By using this platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DocTranslate, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Service Description
DocTranslate provides AI-powered document translation services including: uploading and translating Word and Excel documents; 50+ language translation pairs; format-preserving translation output; flexible pay-per-word billing.
3. Account Registration & Security
Using this platform requires registration. You agree to: provide accurate registration information; be responsible for account security and not share your account; notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access; register only one account per email address.
4. Payments & Refunds
Top-ups are credited instantly; unused balance can be refunded at any time; amounts used for translation are non-refundable; we reserve the right to adjust pricing with advance notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: upload files containing malicious code; use the platform to translate illegal content; attempt to hack or disrupt the platform; use automated tools to bulk-extract translations; resell translation services without authorization. Violations will result in immediate account termination.
6. Intellectual Property
Documents you upload remain your property. Translated output ownership is determined by you and your principals. DocTranslate's platform IP (interface, algorithms, trademarks) belongs to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or design.
7. Disclaimer
The platform is provided 'as is'. We do not guarantee 100% translation accuracy — important documents should be reviewed by a professional. We are not liable for losses due to translation errors, service interruptions, or force majeure events.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocTranslate is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 3 months.
9. Termination
You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for: violations of these terms; fraudulent or abusive behavior; legal requirements. Upon termination, remaining balance will be refunded upon request (minus used amounts).
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or platform notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation; if unsuccessful, they shall be submitted to the competent court at our place of business.
